Who We Are
Queer Parents & Kids was founded in 2026 and serves the Greater Phoenix Metropolitan Area. The community focuses on events that bring queer families together and fosters support from within.
We believe that together we can make meaningful change within our communities and
show solidarity with other marginalized groups.
We also recognize that Trans, BIPOC, Intersex, Asexual, Neurodivergent, and other
minorities are often pushed from LGBTQIA+ spaces, and encourage those who have felt
so to join. Together we can build a community where all are included; parents of
Trans or Queer children welcome as well!
We are a community built on Punk Values:
- Kindness to all, especially those different from yourself.
- Mutual aid.
- Free-thought and non-conformity.
- Environmentalism and political activism.
- Anti-consumerism and pro-sustainability.
- Rejection of Capitalism, Fascism, and the gentrification of our communities.
- Melt ICE!
